Energifonden Sverige

Energifonden is an investment company founded in 2008 that invests in companies and projects in the energy sector through its different subsidiaries. Investments range from shipping operations to renewable energy and alternative fuels.

Corporate governance

Energifonden's board consists of three members.
The board of directors constitutes Energifonden's investment committee. The investment committee is tasked with screening investment opportunities and managing investments.

Energifonden's auditor, Viktor Bengtsson from PwC, is responsible for auditing the group's annual accounts and financial management.

Chairman

Finn Johnson

Born 1946, MBA, former Chairman of the Board of Volvo AB, now Chairman of the Board of Thomas Concrete Group.

Finn Johnsson was CEO of Euroc between 1990 and 1995, then CEO of Mölnlycke Health Care between 1998 and 2005. Between 1998 and 2010 he sat on the board of AB Volvo, from 2004 as chairman.

Fredrik M. Johansson

Born 1982, entrepreneur in the energy and shipping sector. Established his first company in 1999, trained as a naval officer at Chalmers University of Technology, member of the RINA Northern Europe Advisory Committee, former board member of the Barbados Shipowners Association. Has established and built several fuel companies and completed three stock market listings.

Born in 1949, entrepreneur in healthcare and the marine industry, educated at Axelsson's Gymnastic Institute.
